Wanderer decided to stay in his homeland

The wanderer remained in his homeland, surrounded by friends and family. Yet the king’s greed and madness grew with each passing day. He cut down forest after forest, building the castle of impire, selling the trees - the pride of these lands, until his kingdom began to resemble a wasteland.

The wanderer and many of his friends tried to resist the king, but his power had grown too great. Cruel repressions followed, and those resistance fighters who survived were forced to flee, but some of them as the wanderer hide underground.
